Tambayan Team wins the Championship trophy!!!

Tambayan Team won the 12th HFCC Basketball Conference after defeating the Ilonggo Team by merely a single point in a low scoring game held at the Chungmu Arts and Sports Center on 31 January 2010.  The final score of the game is 29 points for Tambayan Team and 28 points for Ilongo team.  The best player for this championship game was Tambayan Team’s #18 player, Edwin Patacsil. Ilonggo Team won the 1st Runner-up trophy of the conference.

 

Earlier in the day, Rosarians team won the 2nd Runner-up trophy after defeating the Ilocano Team in the 1st match.  The best player of this game was Rosarians Team’s #8 player, Ulysses Frades.

 

In between the two games, a 3-point shoot-out competition was held. Mindoro Team’s #8 player, Frank Tapaoan Jr. won this event.

 

The awarding ceremony followed after the 2nd game and was presented by First Secretary and Consul Sylvia M. Marasigan of the Philippine Embassy and Labor Attaché Atty. Delmer R. Cruz of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO).
